Fortress Festival is a brand new destination music festival for North Texas. The annual two-day festival had it’s inaugural event on April 29 & 30, 2017 in Fort Worth’s world renowned Cultural District.
More than 9,000 people, hailing from 33 different states, attended over the two days to watch an all-star lineup of acts such as Run the Jewels, Purity Ring, Flying Lotus, Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats and Slowdive. Click here to peek the rest of the 2017 lineup.
The festival is a partnership between Fortress Presents and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and featured two stages, one on the lawn in front of the Will Rogers Memorial Center and a second that hovered above the reflecting pond of the Modern. In addition to world-class music, attendees were able to wander through the galleries of the museum and experience world-class art.
Fortress Festival will be back for round two in 2018 with dates and further details to be announced. Stay up-to-date by signing up for our email list and following us on social media.
