Kids love Fortress and Fortress loves kids. Many have fested with us over the last couple of years and we strive to create environment that families can enjoy together. Children 10 and under are admitted to the festival for free and we are working on creating spaces within the festival grounds customized for kids and families. That said, not all aspects of the festival are for little ones and we encourage parents and guardians to research the acts playing at any given time to ensure their flock do not hear things they are not supposed to or hear things at sound levels they are not supposed to (aka please bring ear protection for small children). If you have any other questions about how to best experience the festival with children, please email us at info@fortressfestival.com.
There will be a wide variety of routes for public transportation to and from festival grounds from all over Fort Worth and D/FW. Parking will be limited so we strongly encourage taking the TRE if coming from Dallas, Irving, CentrePort or Richland Hills (TRE does not operate on Sundays) or Trinity Metro TEXRail if coming from north east Tarrant County. There are many options for taking public transportation within Fort Worth.
